During each tutorial, following class discussions of the relevant problem, students will be provided with supplementary questions to which they will be required to respond in their written report. | | | Assessment Task 2: Assessment Task 1: Case analysis Q&A | Task Description: | Students will be provided with a list of three intellectual property law cases, which they will be required to analyse and report on, in the form of a one-on-one question and answer session with one of their lecturers via video conference.
Students must be prepared to discuss all three cases on the list. However, during the video-conference, the lecturer will select two of those cases as the focus for discussion. Students will not be notified, in advance of the video-conference, which two cases have been selected by the lecturer In relation to each of the chosen cases, students will be asked about the nature of the dispute, the legal issues, the outcome, and the consequences for the development of the law in the area.
