This presentation is a video presentation, without the use of slides – but props will be permitted in consultation with teaching staff. For this assessment, criteria 1 and 2 are more heavily weighted. | Task Length: | 3 minutes, 30 seconds of variance (+ or ‐) is allowed without penalty. Marks will be deducted proportionately for talks that are over or under this range. | | | Assessment Task 2: Presentation 2 | Task Description: | Prepare and present a talk to a time limit of 3 minutes on a topic that seems technical, professional or discipline specific. Your topic should aim to communicate a complex idea, process or issue to a generalist audience. You should demonstrate structured preparation, considered use of visual material, and rehearsal to refine voice and gesture.
For this presentation, you may use slides ‐ you have the option in this assessment: a) You can follow the 3 Minute Thesis guidelines and use a single slide, or b) You can use up to 3 slides. You will upload your slides to a shared, online power point file, and each speaker will have a title slide with their name and title of their talk.
