Assessment Task 3: Entrepreneurship Assignment |
Task Description: | Students will work in groups to identify a problem or opportunity that is meaningful to them. This could involve Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities or any other area of personal interest. Using the Design Thinking process, students will develop an innovative and practical solution to address their chosen problem or opportunity.
Groups will document their Design Thinking journey in a written report, present their idea through a video pitch, and reflect on team collaboration via a peer evaluation process.
Both individual contributions and effective teamwork will contribute to the overall assessment. |

Assessment Task 4: Assessed Tutorials |
Task Description: | Students will complete a range of tutorial tasks in weeks 2, 3, 4, 8, and 13, including a communications task, an ethics task, an entrepreneurship task, a PMBOK task, and a Scrummy Agile project management task. The outcomes of these tasks will be assessed.
In summer school, these tutorial tasks will occur intensively over two full-day tutorials.
Individual contribution and teamwork will form part of the assessment. |
Task Length: | Task length will vary depending upon the tutorial task, but each task will be submitted by the end of the second hour of each assessed tutorial. |
